Default Toggling enemies off

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it'd be great to have an option to toggle enemies off in the area after you have successfully vanquished that area. Of course, to prevent "running" abuse, all members in the party must have vanquished an area for it to work.

Not only does it make perfect sense, but it also alleviates headaches when (for example) running to dungeons, or trying to reach a place that isn't next to an outpost so that you can vanquish it or get to that collector.

Your idea looks fine, and I would agree with it but there are somethings that will prevent it from implementing it.

1) It will ease the fact of cartographer. I am around 98'7% of cantha and already vanquished it (with a lot of satisfaction). What prevents me from getting the % that last? foes & my own lazyness. If you make em dissapear... no challenge for me... or.. it is?....

2) Preventing it from appearing till ya get to a dungeon..... nah, wont be implemented, just because you can just go 55 or whatever ya need to farm and you would skip the "defenses" that anet putted along the way to prevent you to go there (remove-ench mesmers / necs, knock-down-ers, massive conditions/hexes, and so on).
Ya can get a "taxi" group to vanquish for u, I mean.

That's all I can think about now.

Sure about there are more reasons ^^

but i would /signed anyways

Obviously, chests should also be disabled in areas with no enemies.

1) This is true. Vanquishing on its lonesome nets you most of the cartography title, and it's like you say.. only foes and laziness is stopping you from getting the last %. But if you've dispatched of the foes once already, and in hard mode, I think vanquishers should be allowed that privelige. If you've cleared it out once, it wouldn't be a challenge to map it anyways as you are capable of clearing it again.

2) Valid concern, it would probably open up more areas for farming. But if you look at the farming directory, I'm sure a few more areas won't cause the GW economy to get more out of whack than it already is.

/notsigned, there is really no point for this, the few occasions where you have to get to a dungeon, that's about it and even that isn't that hard to get to a dungeon even in HM. I don't normally go into explorable areas to just sit there, normally I go out there to fight enemies. Just not a good idea and quite pointless.

No enemies would have to mean also:

- Only for those that have unlocked all the outposts of the visited areas. To prevent easy running.
- Only for those that already have Cartographer. To prevent even easier Cartographer.
- No monsters means no quest and no chests.

Hm... to hard for something that is just to see the landscape.

I'm not a big fan of any "make the game easier" suggestion thread. Too many loopholes here. When you have to keep adding stuff to the original idea to close loopholes then it's not a good idea.

1. No chests.
2. Dungeon running made extremely easy
3. Part of the challenge of vanquishing is reaching those areas that are not next to a town. This just made vanquishing 10 times easier. I'd love to vanquish Lornar's Pass by coming up from Camp Rankor with a full party of 8 in about 2 minutes, but it ain't gonna happen.
